Argentina Apollo made Mark Lewin submit to the Argentine Backbreaker in 0:15:36.
Rating: ***

Argentina Apollo got a much needed win to kick off the show as he outlasted "Maniac" Mark Lewin. Apollo was sporting some injured ribs thanks to the beatdown from Gorilla Monsoon at our last show. Word has it that Apollo wants another go at Monsoon.

Number-One-Contenders-Two-out-of-three-Falls Match:
Crusher & Bruiser (The Crusher and Dick the Bruiser) beat The Golden Grahams (Eddie Graham and Dr. Jerry Graham) 2 falls to 0:
x Crusher beat Dr. J. Graham via the Bolo Punch in 0:17:50
x Bruiser beat E. Graham via the Stomach Claw in 0:27:49
Rating: *** 1/4

Dick the Bruiser & The Crusher are the new #1 contenders for the World Tag Team Titles. The series was tied at 1 match a piece, so a 2 out of 3 falls match was in order to settle the score. The match was brutal tag team wrestling at its finest. The Grahams wrestled a good match, but they couldn't figure out the right combo to catch a fall and were thus defeated 2-0. Dick the Bruiser & The Crusher are now guaranteed a title shot in the future.

Bill Watts tries to apologize to Bruno Sammartino but attacks him instead.

Bill Watts came out for an interview and immediately called out Bruno Sammartino. Watts apologized to Bruno about not helping him when he was injured at the last show. Watts said he got caught up in the moment and felt that Sammartino didn't put his heart into winning the match. Sammartino took great offense to Watts questioning his conviction and got in his face, but the Cowboy cooled it down and the two shook hands. As Bruno turned to leave, Watts jumped him with a knee to the back. The crowd booed Watts mercilessly as he dropped him with a piledriver. Watts then took his bull rope and plastered Bruno in the head with it, busting the former World champion wide open. What a heinous attack.

Ernie Ladd pinned Bobo Brazil with the Boot to the Face in 0:14:19.
Rating: * 3/4
(Ernie Ladd retained the GCW United States Title.)

Bobo Brazil's bid to regain the United States Title from "The Big Cat" Ernie Ladd fell just short. Brazil didn't have to worry about Abdullah Farouk's men as the Madmen weren't here and Gene Kiniski was focused on winning the World Title later on. But sometimes just the thought that someone might interfere can be distracting and that happened here as Ladd would retain the championship.

Bill Watts pinned Masked Man with the Oklahoma Stampede in 0:06:18.
Rating: **

Our first ever Wildcard Match pitting two men at random against each other was next and the two wrestlers selected were the Masked Man and the man who viciously attacked his best friend earlier in the night, "Cowboy" Bill Watts. The crowd hated Watts with a frenzy, including one man even having to be thrown out by security for throwing a punch at the Cowboy. The Masked Man was at a distinct disadvantage having wrestled in a tag match earlier which paved an easy path for Watts to get the duke.

Antonino Rocca and Miguel Perez defeated Gorilla Monsoon and Killer Kowalski when Rocca pinned Monsoon after a flying cross body press in 0:06:45.
Rating: ** 1/2
(Antonino Rocca and Miguel Perez retained the GCW World Tag Team Titles.)

If Gorilla Monsoon had a problem with Antonino Rocca before, he is going to have a big problem now after being pinned by Rocca in this World Tag Team Title match. Monsoon & Killer Kowalski were furious after the match and said the win was a fluke, citing that they want another title shot. They won't get it at our next show as we now know a 6-man tag team match has been signed pitting Rocca, Perez, & Bruno Sammartino against Monsoon, Kowalksi, & Bill Watts!

Edouard Carpentier pinned Johnny Valentine with the Somersault Senton in 0:13:20.
Rating: *** 3/4

For the second time in a row, Edouard Carpentier has pinned Johnny Valentine in the middle of the ring. Valentine was furious but he was beaten fair and square. Carpentier has been granted a shot at the United States Title because of these victories.

Lou Thesz defeated Gene Kiniski via pinfall in 0:21:07.
Rating: *** 1/2
(Lou Thesz retained the GCW World Title.)

Abdullah Farouk was desperate to leave Toronto with the World Title in his possession of his stable as Gene Kiniski challenged Lou Thesz for the strap. Despite Kiniski doing quite well for himself, Farouk became impatient and jumped in the ring with a chair. Farouk swung for Thesz, but Thesz moved and the chair connected with Kiniski's skull. Thesz tossed Farouk out of the ring and made the cover to keep the title and prolong his career for another month at least.
