Don Leo Jonathan and Edouard Carpentier defeated The Madmen (Abdullah the Butcher and The Sheik) when Carpentier pinned Abdullah with the Somersault Senton in 0:08:14.
Rating: ** 1/2

Abdullah Farouk gave Abdullah the Butcher quite the tongue-lashing after the Madmen's loss to Don Leo Jonathan & Edouard Carpentier. Butcher fell victim to the Somersault Senton from Carpentier and ate the loss for his team, and Farouk was none too happy. Farouk got in the Madman From Sudan's face and went as far as poking him in the chest, which nearly set this crazy man off the deep end. Farouk changed his tone and cooler heads prevailed.

Bruno Sammartino made Mark Lewin submit to the Sammartino Backbreaker in 0:16:23.
Rating: *** 3/4

Bruno Sammartino wanted a match with Bill Watts tonight, but the Cowboy had to defend the World Tag Team Titles with Johnny Valentine in our main event. Instead, Bruno took his anger and aggression out on Mark Lewin, making him submit to the Sammartino Backbreaker.

Abdullah Farouk & Gene Kiniski put a bounty on Bobo Brazil.

Abdullah Farouk and his charge Gene Kiniski came out for an interview. Farouk was still fuming over the loss of the Madmen earlier, so he was especially angry in this interview. Farouk said that the root of all his problems since he came to GCW was Bobo Brazil, and he was going to have him taken care of once and for all. Farouk said they were putting a $10,000 bounty on Brazil's head. "Whoever can take Brazil out will get $10,000 in cash, no questions asked!" "Classy" Freddie Blassie was the first man to accept, saying he'd like cash and not a check after he finished off Brazil right now.

Bobo Brazil pinned Freddie Blassie with the Coco Butt in 0:10:18.
Rating: *

Freddie Blassie wanted to cash in on the $10,000 bounty Abdullah Farouk put on Bobo Brazil, but Brazil had other things in mind as he survived Blassie's attempts to break his arm and pinned him with the Coco Butt. Kiniski tried to jump Brazil from behind, but Brazil sidestepped it and tossed Kiniski to the floor.

Gene Kiniski pinned Miguel Perez with the Backbreaker in 0:15:45.
Rating: ** 3/4
[Abdullah Farouk interfered against Miguel Perez.]

Gene Kiniski was just shown up by Bobo Brazil, so he took it out on his opponent, Miguel Perez. Perez is a great athlete, but he is primarily a tag team wrestler. This hurt him as he was put down with Kiniski's Backbreaker.

Ernie Ladd defeated Haystacks Calhoun by countout in 0:10:50.
Rating: 1/4*
(Ernie Ladd retained the GCW United States Title.)

The Lumberjacks at ringside were supposed to make it so Ernie Ladd wouldn't be able to run out for a countout like he did last month to retain his title against Haystacks Calhoun. Instead it gave the Big Cat an opportunity to cheat to retain his title. The one huge downfall to Calhoun's massive size is that if he falls out of the ring, it can be difficult for him to get back in. It also didn't help that MARK LEWIN, was attacking him instead of trying to put him in the ring like he was supposed to. Haystacks brawled with Lewin on the floor, and as a result, was counted out, allowing Ladd to retain the title. Calhoun chased Lewin all the way to the back after he realized what happened.

Strap Match:
Pedro Morales defeated Ray Stevens in 0:30:19.
Rating: *** 1/4

We had our very first Strap match, and it was exactly what we expected it to be. Pedro Morales & Ray Stevens whipped each other mercilessly with the leather strap, leaving both men bloody and covered with welts. This type of match is apparently a Morales specialty and despite how bruised and battered he became, Morales touched all four turnbuckles and took the win.

Lou Thesz defeated Dr. Jerry Graham when Dr. Jerry Graham passed out in the STF in 0:26:41.
Rating: **** 1/4
(Lou Thesz retained the GCW World Title.)

Lou Thesz continues to win, this time having a great match with Dr. Jerry Graham. Though Dr. Jerry wrestles mostly tag team matches with his brother Eddie, but he did well for himself here. Everyone brings their A-game when they wrestle for the World Title as they know winning the gold makes you the best in the world and brings a lot of money and respect with it. Thesz doesn't care about the money - he just wants to be the best in the world, and he proved again why he is by making Dr. Jerry pass out in the STF.

First Blood Match:
Antonino Rocca defeated Gorilla Monsoon in 0:05:16.
Rating: * 3/4

A First Blood Match definitely seemed to benefit Gorilla Monsoon, but Antonino Rocca showed just how deadly his feet could be as early on, Rocca caught him in the head with a big savate kick that busted him wide open. Though Rocca won the match, the fight still continued as KILLER KOWALSKI came in and helped Monsoon bloody up Rocca. This brought out MIGUEL PEREZ to join the fray and before you knew it, all four men were bleeding profusely before this fight could be broken up. To settle this hopefully once and for all, these two teams will meet in a cage match on July 18th at MSG.

Crusher & Bruiser (The Crusher and Dick the Bruiser) defeated Bill Watts and Johnny Valentine when Crusher pinned J. Valentine with the Bolo Punch in 0:14:53.
Rating: ***
(Crusher & Bruiser won the GCW World Tag Team Titles.)

For the second month in a row, we have new World Tag Team champions! Bill Watts & Johnny Valentine got their just desserts for the way they won the titles last month, losing them in a similar fashion to Dick the Bruiser & The Crusher. BRUNO SAMMARTINO couldn't restrain himself and went out to get at Watts, causing the Cowboy to take off through the crowd and leave Valentine all alone. Bruiser & Crusher took turns pounding on Valentine and The Crusher's Bolo Punch put this one in the books. Dick the Bruiser & The Crusher are the third World Tag Team champions.

Card rating: ** 1/2
