Ernie Ladd pinned Bill Watts with the Boot to the Face in 0:13:58.

Bill Watts was still fuming over what he called an illegal choke by Ernie Ladd that took Watts out of the World Title tournament. Watts was too aggressive as a result. Ladd weathered the storm and caught the Cowboy with the Boot to the Face for the 1-2-3.

Gorilla Monsoon pinned Johnny Valentine after a side step in 0:16:59.

Valentine could just never overcome the size and girth of Gorilla Monsoon, who rode through Valentine's offense before dodging a dropkick and putting all his weight on Valentine so he couldn't kick out. Valentine was frustrated, but he lost fair and square.

Lou Thesz made Killer Kowalski submit to the STF in 0:10:06.

Lou Thesz's string of great matches continued as he got a manner of revenge against Killer Kowalski for hitting him with a chair two months ago. During the match, Kowalski tried to hit Thesz with a chair again, but he missed and Thesz capitalized with the STF, earning the submission win.

Crusher & Bruiser (The Crusher and Dick the Bruiser) defeated Skull Murphy and Brute Bernard when Bruiser defeated Bernard by disqualification in 0:11:43.

When Skull Murphy & Brute Bernard realized that they weren't going to be able to beat Dick the Bruiser & The Crusher, they decided to jump in the ring and refuse to listen to the referee's instructions, leading to the DQ.

Buddy Rogers pinned Argentina Apollo with the Figure-Four Leglock in 0:16:03.

Buddy Rogers' first title defense wasn't easy, but his Figure-Four Leglock was enough to put a game Argentina Apollo down and out.

What a bloody battle this match was! In such a short time, Bobo Brazil & The Sheik have developed an intense rivalry already, and they used the no-DQ rules to their full advantage. This is more up The Sheik's alley, who used a belt during the Camel Clutch to get Brazil to submit. This one is far from over.

Antonino Rocca and Miguel Perez defeated The Golden Grahams (Eddie Graham and Dr. Jerry Graham) when Rocca made Dr. J. Graham submit to the Argentine Backbreaker in 0:33:00.

Our main event saw Antonino Rocca & Miguel Perez retain the World Tag Team Titles in an epic contest. Rocca would get the win for his team when he made Dr. Jerry Graham submit to the Argentine Backbreaker.

Match observations:

After our main event, Dr. Jerry Graham is going around claiming that he didn't submit and that the referee misheard him. As a result, Antonino Rocca & Miguel Perez want to shut him up once and for all and are granting the Golden Grahams a rematch at our next show in Baltimore on March 30th. This time, it will be best 2 out of 3 falls.

Also on the show, Buddy Rogers will defend the World Title against the man whom he beat in the finals, Bruno Sammartino!

And finally, our third and final champion will be crowned as there will be an 8-man tournament for the United States Title!
