Chief Jay Strongbow pinned Miguel Perez after a side step in 0:15:23.
Rating: * 1/4
[Abdullah Farouk interfered against Chief Jay Strongbow.]

Abdullah Farouk is said to be very upset with his investment in the contract of Miguel Perez. Perez came out on the losing end as he crashed and burned on a flying bodypress attempt on Chief Jay Strongbow. Farouk gave Perez a tongue-lashing after the match.

Pedro Morales and Dominic DeNucci defeated The Golden Grahams (Dr. Jerry Graham and Eddie Graham) when DeNucci pinned E. Graham with the Airplane Spin in 0:09:42.
Rating: *** 1/2

What a triumphant return for Dominic DeNucci. After being out with an injury since December, DeNucci didn't show much ring rust at all as he returned to team with Pedro Morales to defeat the Golden Grahams, Eddie & Dr. Jerry. With DeNucci's return, the tag team division in GCW has heated up.

Bobo Brazil pinned Dr. Jerry Graham with the Coco Butt in 0:05:38.
Rating: * 3/4

Not a good night for Dr. Jerry Graham, as not only did he just lose a tag team match, but his name was selected to wrestle in a Wildcard Match against Bobo Brazil (once again in tow with James Dudley). With Dr. Jerry already being wore down and how fired up Brazil is, it didn't take long for Brazil to put this one away.

Gorilla Monsoon and Edouard Carpentier defeated Johnny Valentine and Killer Kowalski when Carpentier pinned Kowalski after a flying senton in 0:16:06.
Rating: * 3/4

Killer Kowalski chose Johnny Valentine to be his tag team partner tonight against Gorilla Monsoon & Edouard Carpentier. Monsoon would gain a small measure of revenge in this one as while Kowalski had Carpentier in the Stomach Claw, Monsoon ran in and clipped Kowalski's knee to break it up. Carpentier quickly followed with a flying senton that put this one in the books. Next month Monsoon & Kowalski are finally going to clash one-on-one.

We were supposed to see the first shot at the World Tag Team Titles for the Blond Bombers, but their match with Dick the Bruiser & The Crusher never got started. Bruiser & Crusher apparently did not take too kindly to being back jumped last month, so they did the same and attacked Pat Patterson & Ray Stevens as they were coming to the ring. Because of the brawl that ensued, the match was thrown out before it got started. However, another match between the two teams has been signed for next month in Atlantic City.

Abdullah Farouk makes Bobo Brazil an offer.

After James Dudley returned and attacked Abdullah Farouk last month, Farouk has said he wants to figure out a way to end this dispute once and for all - with the elimination of Bobo Brazil. Farouk offered Brazil a deal - if over the course of the next four shows, if Brazil could beat all of his men, Farouk himself would get in the ring with Brazil! Brazil of course has jumped at this offer, and will start with a match against Miguel Perez next month on June 18th. One has to wonder what Farouk has up his sleeve.

Dory Funk Jr. made Gene Kiniski submit to the Spinning Toe Hold in 0:17:49.
Rating: *** 1/2
[Abdullah Farouk interfered against Dory Funk Jr..]

Farouk may think he has the answers in getting rid of Bobo Brazil, but he and Gene Kiniski had no answers for dealing with Dory Funk Jr. tonight. A good wrestling match here which saw Kiniski trying to pound Funk into submission, but the rugged redneck from Amarillo can dish it as well as he takes it and got the win with the Spinning Toe Hold.

Luke Graham pinned Ernie Ladd with the Thumb to the Throat in 0:10:27.
Rating: ** 1/2
(Luke Graham retained the GCW United States Title.)
[Jack Davis interfered against Luke Graham.]

Ernie Ladd wants the United States Title back in the worst way, but he knew he had a tough road to hoe against the undefeated monster that is "Crazy" Luke Graham. The Big Cat's strategy was to mimic Graham, as he came with his thumb taped up the exact dame way that Graham does for his vicious Thumb to the Throat finisher. Ladd didn't wrestle the normal style of match that he does, instead trying to drive his thumb into Graham's throat the entire match. When he finally did, he was disappointed to find out it didn't work nearly as effectively, and he was quickly met with Graham's version of the move and a pinfall loss.

Bruno Sammartino made Baron Mikel Scicluna submit to the Sammartino Backbreaker in 0:17:05.
Rating: *** 1/4
(Bruno Sammartino retained the GCW World Title.)
[Abdullah Farouk interfered against Bruno Sammartino.]

Bruno Sammartino's deadly Backbreaker has claimed another victim. Sammartino and his challenger, Baron Mikel Scicluna, know each other very well as they did battle many times in 1965, so Scicluna knew what he had to do to beat Sammartino. However, knowing what to do and actually doing it are two very different things. Scicluna cut every corner he could find, but in the end, it wasn't enough as Bruno remains the champion.

Card rating: ** 3/4
