November 4, 1967 - Madison Square Garden - New York, NY

Miguel Perez and Nick Bockwinkel battled to a draw in 0:20:00.
Rating: ** 1/2

Nick Bockwinkel has entered GCW claiming to be the best wrestler in the world, but so far, his match results are leaving him more than a little frustrated. He walked out for a countout against Argentina Apollo last month, and this time he wrestled to a time limit draw against Apollo's fellow Firecracker Miguel Perez. Bockwinkel still holds to his claim that he's the best in the world and says he will prove it against Antonino Rocca next on December 2nd in Boston.

Antonio Inoki defeated Lou Albano when Lou Albano passed out in the Octopus Hold in 0:09:04.
Rating: ***

Antonio Inoki wants a chance to regain the United States Title, but Lou Albano told Inoki that he would have to go through him first before he'd get a shot at his charge Luke Graham. Inoki seemed to welcome this as it gave him a chance to get his hands on Albano. Inoki toyed with Albano, giving his opponent the false hope that he had a shot before he put on the Octopus Hold to get the 1-2-3. Inoki will now get a shot at Graham in Boston if Crazy Luke can retain the title later tonight.

The Half-Ton Team (Gorilla Monsoon and Haystacks Calhoun) defeated Baron Mikel Scicluna and Killer Kowalski when Calhoun pinned Kowalski with the Big Splash in 0:13:31.
Rating: * 3/4

Killer Kowalski & Baron Mikel Scicluna tried teaming up again, but they had just as poor of results this time as they did the last, losing to the Half-Ton Team. Since Kowalski split with Gorilla Monsoon, his career has sputtered. Kowalski has said he needs to do something drastic to get back on track.

Luke Graham pinned Edouard Carpentier with the Thumb to the Throat in 0:11:32.
Rating: ***
(Luke Graham retained the GCW United States Title.)
[Lou Albano interfered against Edouard Carpentier.]

Edouard Carpentier had a lengthy run with the US Title in the past, but has fallen short in his attempts to regain the championship. Luke Graham seems to be his kryptonite as he can always get close but no cigar. The same thing happened here as Carpentier couldn't find the right moves to put the match away and ate the Thumb to the Throat. Graham will now defend against the only man who has ever beaten him, Antonio Inoki, in Boston.

The Sheik made Argentina Apollo submit to the Camel Clutch in 0:13:28.
Rating: ** 3/4

The Sheik put Gene Kiniski out of action for several months at our show in October, and looks to do the same thing every time he competes. Tonight he went against Argentina Apollo. Apollo knew that if The Sheik got a hold of him, that'd be the end, so he played some cat and mouse. Once The Sheik slowed him down though, he mauled him, finishing him off with the Camel Clutch.

Pat Patterson defeated The Crusher by disqualification in 0:01:23.
Rating: **
[Dick the Bruiser interfered against Pat Patterson.]

Pat Patterson is back (minus the mask) and he wants revenge on Dick the Bruiser & The Crusher who have now taken out two of his tag team partners and tried to take him out as well. Patterson came back with a new fire lit under him and had the fans behind him this time as he took on The Crusher. Patterson surprised The Crusher with is intensity, prompting the Bruiser to jump in the ring for the disqualification. Luckily for Patterson, he got out of Dodge before any major damage could be done. Patterson takes on Bruiser next month.

Pedro Morales and Dominic DeNucci defeated Jack Brisco and Terry Funk when DeNucci pinned Jack Brisco with the Airplane Spin in 0:16:56.
Rating: ** 1/2
(Pedro Morales and Dominic DeNucci retained the GCW World Tag Team Titles.)

Jack Brisco & Terry Funk earned a shot at the World Tag Team Titles against Pedro Morales & Dominic DeNucci, and you know that Terry would love to do something his brother hasn't and that's hold championship gold. Morales & DeNucci don't care much about the sibling rivalry - they only care about retaining their tag team titles. After a hard fought match, Morales & DeNucci again proved why they are the top of the tag team mountain with a successful title defense. Brisco & Funk wanted more of the tag team champions after the match, jumping the champs as they were presented the titles. DORY FUNK JR. ran down to make the save, but Terry Funk began goading is brother to hit him. Dory refused which allowed Brisco to drop Morales with a piledriver. Morales is said to be infuriated with Dory Funk for not making the save and has challenged him to a match in Boston!

Ernie Ladd pinned Antonino Rocca with the Boot to the Face in 0:10:39.
Rating: *** 1/2

Ernie Ladd continues to be one of the most hated men in wrestling as he was again rubbing in the fact he destroyed Chief Jay Strongbow's headdress. He was mocking Strongbow doing Indian rain dances during this match with Antonino Rocca. Rocca didn't care for Ladd's taunts and tried to put the Big Cat in his place. What makes Ladd's attitude even more irritating is that his wrestling skills allow him to back it up as he picked up the win here. As a result, Ladd has been granted a World Title shot in Boston against Bobo Brazil (if Brazil still holds the gold by then).

Bobo Brazil pinned Hiro Matsuda with the Coco Butt in 0:18:21.
Rating: ****
(Bobo Brazil retained the GCW World Title.)

The main event was for the World Title as Bobo Brazil defended against Lou Albano's Japanese Hitman, Hiro Matsuda. Brazil had a lot of trouble with Matsuda, not being able to adjust to the martial arts Japanese style. As the match went along, Albano could sense that he was going to be the proud owner of not only the US Title, but the World Title as well. But as he has done so many times in the past, Brazil overcame the odds and made a comeback, narrowly escaping with a victory after the Coco Butt in a great main event.

Card rating: ***
